Jere Andre Walker appeals from the denial of his motion to correct an illegal sentence filed pursuant to Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.800(a). In denying Walkers motion, the trial court misconstrued the basis for Walkers claims and erroneously found that none were cognizable under rule 3.800(a). Because we find that two of Walkers claims are cognizable under rule 3.800(a), we reverse and remand with instructions that the trial court consider the merits of these claims from Walkers motion.
